About this example…

✔ 100% vintage. Made by Nikko in Japan from 1986.
✔ 100% working. Including 2 speed gearbox.
✔ Battery compartments mint.
✔ Tyres near mint.
✔ Transmitter included.
✔ Nothing broken.
– Very minor scuffs on underside of vehicle, or decal edges.
– The “window netting” plastic has been repaired.

Conclusion: This Nikko Super Fox 4WD is in beautiful, 100% working, clean condition. The plastic “window netting” has had a tiny bit of repair to hold it in place (a fragile item even on new in box examples of this car), but other than that, this Super Fox is near mint. Barely a mark on it – just a few small scuffs. Tyres are like new. A beautiful, clean example of this classic. Priced according to rarity, condition, and past examples I have sold.

History

The Nikko Super Fox is surely one of the most attractive buggies ever released by Nikko. Featuring a great colour scheme, real sponsor decals, window netting and spotlights, it’s a buggy that fans of vintage Tamiya and Kyosho cars will appreciate. Released in 1986, it was also one of Nikko’s earliest 4WD buggies – as they joined the 4WD bandwagon in the R/C buggy market (4WD buggies were very popular from about 1985 onward). Running on 8xAA batteries and featuring the ever popular “Turbo” on the transmitter, this is also a car capable of entertaining speed. Definitely a classic from the golden era of realistic R/C, that every Nikko buggy fan should own.
