Description

This is a used, vintage Radio Shack / Tandy Flexmobile all-terrain vehicle, in amazing condition with very minimal use. As you can see from the photos, there is only light wear underneath – a sign it has not been used much.

This Flexmobile has been tested, and it works 100% perfectly – including the blinking roof light. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better one, as this model is rare in any condition. It comes with the original box in pretty worn but structurally OK condition, the original transmitter, and even the manual is included. Cosmetically the Flexmobile is also very good. There is minor wear to some decals, but most are flawless. There is a light crack to the rear canopy section along one side, but it has been repaired (glued) on the inside, so the crack is not that noticeable from the outside. The rubber tracks are in perfect condition – not worn or cracked.

Please see the photos to understand the condition. Feel free to contact me to find out more.

History

First manufactured by Nikko in about 1983, the R/C Flexmobile is a highly realistic 1/14 scale tracked R/C model that was released around the world in a couple of different guises – one of which was simply called “Flexmobile” and sold at Tandy and Radio Shack stores in about 1986. The rear canopy can be removed, and the model is overall incredibly scale-like and realistic, right down to the tracked wheels. A true go-anywhere scale crawler that looks just as impressive sitting on a shelf, as it does when running. It was created back in the days when Nikko made many incredibly authentic and interesting RC toys.
