Description
This is a brand new in box, original Taiyo Jet Bandit baja truck from 1990. The truck is mint – never run, complete with box and transmitter. Still has that brand new smell! It was lifted out of the box only for the purpose of taking photos. The box has some cardboard missing at one corner, and some discoloration, but it holds together and the front of the box presents very well.
Nothing beats “brand new” when it comes to vintage R/C toys. Don’t miss this chance to own an extremely rare, brand new Taiyo Jet Bandit.

History
The Taiyo Jet Bandit continued Taiyo’s series of “Bandit” trucks that began with the Turbo Bandit and the Baja Bandit – off-road trucks styled for Baja events with roof bars, headlights and spare tyres in the rear tray. They were an extremely popular series, rivaling the earlier “Hopper” buggy series, and offering the same kind of realistic, ready-to-run off-road action. The Jet Bandit was a really great looking model in 1/18 scale, with all of the realistic little details and chrome embellishments found on the others, and is pretty quick for it’s size.
